Blurb:ย

I was born for thisโ€”the Outfit, the power, the legacy.

I canโ€™t wait to take the omertร  and finally be a made man.

Sure, there are rules but Iโ€™ve never met one I couldnโ€™t bend.

They donโ€™t call me Lucky for nothing.

Everything was going according to planโ€ฆ until she punched me in the face.

Frankie Oโ€™Malley, the orphan with more fire than sense. The girl who doesnโ€™t belong, yet somehow owns every damn room she walks into. Sheโ€™s the only person at Sacred Heart Academy who doesnโ€™t fear meโ€”or my last name.

Now Iโ€™m stuck tutoring her, a punishment for my latest prank.ย

At first, I canโ€™t stand her.

But thenโ€ฆ I donโ€™t just like herโ€”I need her.

Thereโ€™s only one problem. Sheโ€™s set on becoming a nun.

Frankie belongs to God.

I belong to the Outfit.

But what if we were meant to belong to each other?

Authorโ€™s note: The Next Vicious Generation is an interconnected standalone series that serves as a spin-off to the Rotten Love Duet. Each book in this series will focus on one of the Romano siblings and their love interest. However, all books in this series have an entwined subplot that will only be resolved in the final book. Recommended 18+ due to mature language and situations.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Lucky and Frankie. Get ready to fall in love with these two and devour this book. Frankie hasn’t had a great life. She was an orphan who ended up living in an orphanage run by nuns. This in turn gives her the opportunity to attend Sacred Heart Academy. Lucky and his brother stay in trouble it seems like and now things are getting serious since he has never done the time he needed to to graduate. Since he didn’t get it done he is now having to tutor other students. Frankie just so happens to be struggling with calculus class and he saves the day when in front of everyone she is not able to answer the problem on the board. However she is not happy and very embarrassed so she punches him in the face right then and there. Now their punishment is that Lucky is to be her tutor so she can pass this class. What neither of them expected was the comfort they feel when they are with each other and quickly form a friendship that has the potential to turn into so much more. I have to stop there because there are other things going on in this book that keep you turning the pages as fast as I can. I really loved reading this book and can’t wait for the next one in this series..

About Renee Henson

Renee Henson has an obsession with reading and reviewing. Especially anything that is a dark romance, fairy tale retelling, MC, and is trying her best to love the PNR worlds. Nothing is quiet as exciting to her as reading a good book and then talking about it or making comments while reading with her friends that have read the book too. She is always happiest with her kindle in her hand and her nose is a book. She has been reviewing for Stephanie's Book Reports for over ten years.
