Who is this author and why haven’t I heard of her before?!!!! OMG, this book was PERFECT!!!!! Why? Because it had everything you’d ever want in a story; hotness, drama, lust, suspense….you name it, it was in this story.
Jagg is a broken man. After years in the military, he was discharged due to an injury. An injury that to this day is still a thorn in his back, literally. Let’s add in the fact that he’s not the easiest person to get along with (probably because he’s a detective), moody and a womanizer, and you’re in for a wild ride. Why? Because his world is turned upside down one night, changing the course of many things in his life.
Sunny is…different. At first glace, she comes off as a strong woman who will gut you if you look at her wrong. But look closer. She’s damaged goods and has done everything she can to bounce back from a past that just won’t seem to go away. And to make matters worse, she’s being accused of murdering the local pastor’s son. What else could possibly go wrong in her life?
There is SOOOO much to this story. So. Much. Like I stated earlier, this has everything. But for me, it was witnessing the growth between Jagg and Sunny,Jagg overcoming his personal struggles and constant suspense of figuring out “who dun it”. If you like suspense, sexual anticipation and whole lot of OMG, you’ll absolutely LOVE THIS!!!
