I received a free copy of the book from the author.

This is the first book by A.M. Salinger I’ve read and of course it’s the eighth in the series!  HA! Go me.  True to the blurb statement Hush can be read by itself.  I didn’t have any trouble jumping right into Tom and Lana’s story.  The characters didn’t feel out of place to me and was easy to read. This book is less than 100 pages so it was a quick read too.

Though it was quick the story of Lana and Tom was a charming office romance that would steam up any skyscraper’s set of windows.  They’ve known each other for years.  Years!  Lana has no clue that Tom has lusted after her for as many as they’ve known each other.  Though during this book he finally has had enough.

Can’t say that I blame him though, but sometimes you just have to take the bull by its horns. Of course Lana didn’t purposefully start out to ask her assistant (Tom) to bang her. But the morning after mortification of his refusal is the eye opener Tom needs.

I’m sure you will enjoy this quick love story. Sassy with a side of sexy.
