He as the only one nine years ago that believed the killings happening nine years ago where connected to a serial killer and it almost cost him his sanity and his job. Now the killer or one who is a exact copy cat is back and he is assigned to the case. He too has a new partner Ruby Sanders and to say that she wants him and is always trying to get him is a understatement. But he has no interest in her because she has been with a lot of people in the police department. He just wants to do his job and nothing more. However now that the killer is back there is one huge difference and it just might cause his downward spiral to be worse than it was the first time. Add in a party that one of the murdered men was at and the daughter of the man throwing said party and he has a whole new obsession in Kiera. You have to read to find out exactly what I am talking about but it is good and bloody and everything that you would expect a dark N. Isabelle Blanco and Dee Garcia book to be.

Corrupted is the second book in the St. Cecilia Slayings. You need to read Tainted first and be aware that this is a six book novella series. Each book is going to end in a huge cliffhanger.

Wow Maverick is about to go off the deep in and is neck deep in some pretty serious secrets pertaining to things he knows and has seen about the serial killer. Some shocking and some not so much but ones to cause concern. He is no closer to catching the person doing this but does know that it is a woman. And now their are two women about to drive him to the edge of insanity. He, no matter what he does can get Kiera off his mind. She is his obsession and it is beginning to affect his job. He is drinking again after being sober for years and he want to hear nothing that Ruby has to add to anything strange that might just be going on. I am loving this series and so can not wait for the next book.
