I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
If you have been reading this series, then you know that The LA Defiance MC has taken down the governor finally. They should be able to recoup and get some much needed peace with the Rojos cartel out of the picture. However the nephew of Rico Rojas is rebuilding the empire his uncle use to rule over. But he is doing it bigger and better and is out to tear the club apart bit by bit. People have had to run for their lives. One is surviving prison with there eyes wide open since they could be taken out at any second. One is an emotional mess and drowning. They are outnumbered and running out of options to keep their club whole. However, there might be hope in a girl who was taken out of the Nest but is now working for the Rjoas. Nighthawk is not just any girl though. She is ruthless with a blade and possibly the key to bring down the cartel once again. But can they trust her? I don’t know that I want to tell you more than that. I think that you need to go into this blind. Hence, why I didn’t give you the main male character’s name. I want it all to be a surprise. This is also the first part of the story and what a story it is. You should expect to have to have the second book before this story finishes up. I for one can’t wait to see how this all goes. Buckle up buttercup, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
