This is the story of Dex and Kira. She is a part of the Russian Bratva Family. She, by her family, has been takes with seducing Dex. He is an ex-marine who turned into an assassin. He is a man that is fueled by his need for revenge. There is more in this mission to her though than simply seducing him. She has a grandmother, sister, and niece, that she wants nothing more than to get out of the life they find themselves in. However, she never in a million years could have seen falling for the man that has been sent to get her back. He has become her addiction and she simply can’t stay away from him. He though, feels the same way. I love the dynamic between these two characters and their interactions. They had such an amazing connection. This book is filled with lies, guilt and a journey that is certainly not easy by any means. However, it just might be the thing that finally sets them free. This is a book that you do not want to miss.
