This is the first book in the Marchesi Empire Duet. This is a dark forbidden enemies to lover romance. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the books because it will contain some triggers for some readers. I am going to go ahead and warn you too that your kindle might catch fire in your very hands this book is so freaking hot.
Johnny Malone is a man who is supposed to be keeping his head down and his nose clean. But when he has this encounter with Becca Brennan that puts everything that he is trying to do in dangers. Becca is the daughter of a very corrupt man and her past is about to come back with a vengeance to to haunt her. However Johnny is really willing to risk it all to to be Becca to his will. Even if he has to burn the entire world as she knows it around her. I know that doesn’t make much sense to y’all but I’m so afraid to tell you very much about this story for fear of giving a spoiler away. I picked this book up and I didn’t lay it back down until I was done and loved every single second of this book. I loved the banter between Johnny and Becca. It was pure fire and they have some moment that will just melt you. I can not wait to get my hands on the second book!!! I need to know what is going to happen like yesterday!!
