Blurb:Β

Wolf Brookes was the bad boy who broke my heart, moved on faster than I could blink, and didn’t even bother to look back. Which is why I hate him.

A year and a half after the heartbreak, I’ve made some questionable choicesβ€”like breaking into his house and stealing from him. In my defense, I needed the money. He didn’t need to catch me… or blackmail me into playing little sister to the makeshift frat of reprobates he helps run.

Now I’m stuck in a party house from hell with my tattooed, arrogant ex.

My plan? Use being in his house to my advantage, get what I need to beat him at his own game, and get out.

His plan? Apparently to torment me by acting as though he doesn’t own a shirt.Β

But the more time we spend together, the more I see glimpses of the boy I lovedβ€”and the man he’s become. He’s still the same reckless, infuriating disaster I fell for, and I’m still the idiot who can’t seem to quit him.

Falling for him again would be the worst idea of my life.

But losing him twice?Β

That might break me for good.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the story of Wolf and Jade. These two have a past and it didn’t end very well. They were high school sweethearts. She is really smart and he is a great football player. But when she needed a break and then started dating another guy he did the same thing and tried to move on with a different girl. Now they are in the same college and can’t stand the very sight of each other. She is trying her best to make it though without running into him but she also has this temper that, when she is angry she wants to light the world on fire. He is also not one the right side of the law. He steals and sells things he shouldn’t. He and his friends even had to create a fraternity so they could all stay together. When she is out for revenge because her boyfriend cheated on her, he beats her to setting his car one fire and steals it. But, when her best friend takes something from his best friend they are caught read handed on the cameras in the house. Their solution? To make the girls live with them and have live in maids. As you can imagine the girls are angry and her best friend is out for revenge. But not Jade. That’s just not her style. But having to spend all this time this close to Wolf is hard on Jade. Especially when she begins to see glimpses of the boy she once loved. I loved reading this book. I laughed at the revenge happening and I really loved the connection that Jade and Wolf had. There are twists and turns. Lies and secrets. But most of all this is a story of true love that conquers all.

USA Today bestselling authors Stevie J Cole and LP Lovell bring you a steamy, second-chance, enemies-to-lovers romance full of banter, bad boys and bad decisions, and the kind of love that never diesβ€”even when it should.
