This is the story of Cara and Grant. She is one of the best contract spies in the world. However, she is not the only one. Her dad’s best friend and her arch nemesis, Grant is also the best. When they are both contacted by the director of the Agency to catch one of the most elusive, wanted criminals in the world they have to team up. Not only do they have to catch this guy and work together, but now they have to infiltrate the Carolina’s Mafia and dismantle the entire thing. Doing this won’t be easy and it really seems next to impossible when you don’t trust each other and have to pose as a married couple with a sordid past. These two have always been rivals. They often are competing for the same jobs since they are both the best of the best there is out there. This has racked up the tension between these too and they hold grudges. But, they are able to get along when they had to. I loved the maturity of these characters because of their work but also there again. They have an age gap these two are in their middle thirties and late forties. I loved that these two have had an attraction and always fought it but can keep that out of the work they have to do. But when those walls come down it is a beautiful thing to witness. I thought this was a really sweet romance even though the spy part of this story was dangerous.
