If you love cowboy small town romances then you have come to the right place. This is the story of Paisley and Brody. My heart really really broke for Brody. I try to avoid books where the mom has died because this is such a hard thing for me to read because I lost my mom in my early twenties. But, I wanted to read this book and am proud to say I made it though but with some tears at times. Now that his mom has passed he is left dealing with the loss and a lot more around the ranch as he is forced to take over the majority of the big responsibilities. However, he sure didn’t plan on his sister leaving to travel. But, she didn’t leave him to take care of the stables. She got her very best friend Paisley to care for them while she is gone. Paisley is like a ray of sunshine sprinkled into this life. But the place he is in he isn’t really in the mood for all her positive vibes. This poor guy I felt like cannot catch a break. Now his father has decided that for him to fully take over and own the farm he has to settle down. He needs a plan and fast and Paisley just might be the girl to help him accomplish owning the farm. Of course this would be in name only. Now he just has to convince Paisley, his sisters best friend that this is the thing they need to do. I loved reading this book. I really loved these character’s and saw a little of myself in both these characters. I got the grief he was dealing with but I also am the girl who is positive and almost always in a good mood and if you’re my true friend I would do anything in the world for you. There are also so many fun characters in this book. They will have you laughing and so hooked on this book you won’t be able to put it down. I think I made Brody’s dad sound like this horrible you have to get married man when he is the opposite actually. The man sure loved to play pranks and this is where the laughing came into play for me. Just go get this book. You won’t regret reading it.
