SYNOPSIS:

ANNA

Three years, we’d been playing our little game. Pretending I was too quick to be caught and he was too slow to catch me. Pretending the tension between us wasn’t there. Pretending I wasn’t interested. He was a stubborn, misogynistic bastard.

And he fit me perfectly.

The only problem was that a man like Wolf wanted everything. Everything I didn’t want to give. We both had our past—pasts we weren’t ready to face, commitments we weren’t ready to make.

But we didn’t get to make that decision, because our pasts were alive, and when they came for us, I found that there was only one thing left for me to do.

It was time for me to face the wolf.

WOLF

From the second she strutted into my club, put a knife to my balls, and demanded I make her my lawyer, she got more than just a job. She got my balls handed to her on a silver platter. Because I knew I had to have her.

But shadows hung between us, and whenever I took one step closer, she took one step back. She was my prey, but every time I had her in my claws, she slipped out just in time, and I pretended it wasn’t my mistake.

But I was done letting her escape. My past taught me to protect what’s mine, and when shadows surfaced, threatening to destroy not just my club and principles but everything between us, I knew the game was over.
She was mine.

And it was about time I showed her.

**Carla’s Five Star Review

This is the second book in the Black Angels MC series, and it is Wolf and Anna’s story. While it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone.

What do you get when you bring a hot headed alpha male and a fierce and sassy ball buster together? Fire. You get fire. It has been three years since Wolf and Anna started their game of cat and mouse, and Wolf has finally had enough. He claims Anna and professes his undying love for her, and, for once, she is speechless. She cares for him just as much as he cares for her, but her past has left her jaded. It is possible for Anna to leave the past behind her for good and find the happiness she has always longed for?

Gah, I loved this book! It is chock full of surprises. I swear, just when you think you have figured everything out, you are hit with yet another shocker. If you are looking for a book that is sure to bring out all “the feels”, look no further!

As I stated earlier in this review, this book can be read as a stand alone, but I can promise you that once you read this second installment, you will want to read the first book asap!

Renee’s Four Star Review:

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Wolfe is the second book in A.E. Fisher’s Black Angel MC Series. It can be read as a standalone.

For three years Anna and Wolfe have been dancing around their attraction for each other. Anna is the Black Angel’s lawyer and Wolfe is the club president. One is always taking one step forward and the other one step back. It is quite the dance. When things start to get dangerous and there is a threat to the club a rival club comes in to offer a deal and a group of Russians called the Black Jacks are one the attack looking form something one of the Black Angel members has. No one is sure who it is or what they have and danger is lurking in every corner.

I really loved Wolfe. I loved his loyalty and protectiveness of his club and the members. It is club before everything and he really is protective of that. Anna is one tough cookie. I would really hate to be the one messing with her. She sure can hold her own in a world filled with big dangerous men and bring them to their knees. But she has secrets just like Wolfe only Wolfe is willing to share and Anna isn’t. This book is filled with a huge back and forth between Wolfe and Anna that got a little frustrating for me. It was just a little to much to me. They both wanted each other and it was a little hard at some points to understand exactly why Anna kept fighting it so freaking hard. Then there is the whole what and who do these bad guys want and it was a little confusing to me but when it all finally came together I understood. I do not think there is anyone who can figure this book out until you get to where it all comes together.

Overall I enjoyed it at times and at times I fought to get through it for some reason I can’t quiet put my finger one. I will however read another A.E. Fisher book.

ABOUT A.E. FISHER

Writing books had been a big part of my life for many years; whether it was writing in secret notebooks during class, writing amateur novels or posting stories online, I surrounded myself with it.

Of course, it has its up and downs, but I’ve never once thought that writing wasn’t for me.

Because of that, I can share the worlds I discover in my head with the outside world, and although that might sound crazy to some, it’s fine by me. So long as I can do what I love, I’m happy.

And every person who’s happy as a result of my writing is a bonus for which, I’m forever grateful for.
