SYNOPSIS:

Cobra

I’ve lived two lives.

One full of innocence and one full of sin.

I mourned the perfect life I was born into and made it my duty to chase the phantom who stole it from me.

Revenge, mayhem and loss are all I know.

I am the lone man—I am the wanderer.

The former nomad—now, Satan’s deadliest soldier.

The two worlds were never supposed to collide. Innocence and sin aren’t made to coexist yet somehow my past bleeds into the present and I find myself facing my biggest regret…I find myself face to face with her—the girl who got away.

The girl I let go.

The woman I’ll ruin if I stay.

Celeste

Our young love was marred by violence.

Our guilt destroyed us, fate tempted us but, it was he who broke us.

They say time heals all, but all time did was dull the ache of his abandonment.

Now, dressed in leather, covered in ink the boy I mourned is now a man—a man tormented by his demons.

In another life we were everything to one another.

In this life we’re strangers.

*NOTE* Each book in the Nomad series can be read as a STANDALONE.

Renee’s Five Star Review

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Wanderer is the second book in Janine Infante Bosco’s Nomad Series. The first book is Drifter but you don’t have to read it to read Wanderer. With that said my question to you is why in the world would you not want to read Drifter. All these characters play a part in each book and they are absolutely amazing. Wanderer is Cobra and Celeste’s story.
Cobra has lived two lives. One full of innocence and one full of sin. He had the perfect life as a teenager until it was suddenly taken away from him. He vowed to chase the phantom that sole his life. Revenge, mayhem and loss are all he knows. He is the wanderer, the lone man. His two worlds were never suppose to collide until they do and he finds himself face to face with the girl who got away. The girl he let go.  The woman he will ruin if he stays…..Celeste. Their young love was marred by violence. Their guilt destroyed them, fate tempted them, but it was Jagger who broke them. They say time heals all, but that simply is not true. Time has done nothing to dull their feeling or their guilt. Now Jagger is dressed in leather wearing a cut and being called Cobra. He is a man tormented by his demons. In their past life they were everything to one another. In this life they are total strangers.
I am always happy to step into the Nomad world. A world that includes the Satan’s Knights MC too. How could you not want to escape into this world. After the bonus epilogue in Drifter I could not wait to get my hands on Wanderer. Cobra was a mystery and I knew he had a missing sister. Now you get that story and wow what a story it is. Cobra and Celeste, who was his sisters best friend, fell in love when they were teenagers and it was pure bliss. Oh my goodness they were so perfect for each other. He was a football player who wanted to go pro and she had dreams of being a journalist. They were so deeply in love until an act of violence tore their entire world apart and the chaos of it all affected them. Jagger changed, Celeste stopped living for herself as guilt ate her alive, until one day Jagger just disappeared. Left. Gone. Never to be seen until one day there they both were in the same bar and their worlds collided again. Now however Jagger is Cobra and Celeste isn’t the same innocent girl she once was. Her eyes tell it all and her grief is eating her alive. One night, a final goodbye and two years pass. Determined to not run into Celeste and now no longer a nomad but a member of the Brooklyn Chapter of the Satan’s Knights, tragedy brings the two together again.
I make it no secret that I am obsessed with Janine Infante Bosco. All of the books I’ve ever read by her have been absolutely amazing. I was hooked from the first book and in love with the world she has created that is one in which the mob and the MC are friends. And, Jack Bulldog Parrish is king. I could stay lost in this world for days and days. I never fail though to be surprised at how sucked into these books I get. Carla and I generally read the same books and review them. Bless her heart she reads a lot faster than I do and has to live though the Renee is having a freaking meltdown moments as I message her. I’m sure these conversations are hilarious because you would think this stuff is actually happening to me. You have to love a book that sucks you in so hard your in that world so deeply you feel it all. This happens to me every time Janine Infante Bosco releases a new book. She never ever fails to suck me in and just when I think I’m in this safe place…bam the rug is pulled out from under me and my entire world is flipped upside down. Wanderer is a book that had me in tears, like bawling my eyes out one minute and laughing the next, then the heart failure comes. I swear when you read this book and you don’t fall in love with Deuce you and I need to have a serious talk. He is hilarious. Cobra is so much more than I expected him to be. They way he loves Celeste is the way every girl in the world hopes and prays she is loved. Their story isn’t one that is pretty and wrapped up all nicely in a bow but it is the story that makes them who they are. A journey that spans their lifetimes and shows you the payoff is so worth the risk.
If I could give this book a million stars I would. I am going to be in a Wanderer world hangover for days. Just as soon as my heart decides to return to my chest and beat regularly again. Go!! Run! Grab this book. Find your sweet reading spot. I promise you will not be moving from it. You can thank me when you finish because there is absolutely no way your not going to love this book. You too will want to be Property Of Parrish. When it comes to MC books no one writes them quite like Janine Infante Bosco.

*Carla’s Five Star Review

This is the second book in the Nomad Series, and it is Cobra and Celeste’s story.

Cobra and Celeste met and fell in love when they were both just kids. When tragedy strikes, they are there for one another through some pretty horrible days. That is until Cobra vanishes one day without so much as a goodbye.

For years, Cobra has traveled the country as a nomad biker. He is driven by his thirst for revenge. When he finally realizes that he will never get the revenge he seeks, he decides to return home and hang up his nomad status for good. Upon his return, the first thing he wants to do is seek out Celeste, but he refrains. In his eyes, she is better off without him in her life. However, tragedy strikes once again bringing Celeste back into his life, and he knows deep down in his bones that his life will never be the same.

My book bestie, Renee, first introduced me to the “awesomeness” that is Janine Infante Bosco, and I have been hooked ever since. I swear I am like a junkie needing a fix whenever I know she is releasing a new book! Her writing style really is in a league of it’s own, and her characters are always real and super easy to relate to. I fell head over heels for Cobra and Celeste! Their story is one of first love, heartbreak, and second chances. It is also filled with many twists and turns that are sure to keep you glued to your kindle. If you are looking for an exciting read that is so much more than boy meets girl, this is the book for you!!

SYNOPSIS:

“Stryker”
I’m a drifter.
A man born to ride through this world alone.
There used to be a time when I thought I was the rescuing type. I enlisted in the Marines and made it my duty—I was going to save lives.
I was going to be a true American hero.
But God had another plan.
Or maybe Satan did.
For everything I touch finds mortality.
I’m no hero.
I’m nothing.
I’m a veteran biker, a former nomad who survived war only to live in hell.
Now I ride with the Satan’s Knights of Brooklyn and I’m drifting into a different kind of chaos.
The kind that revolves around a pretty girl with intoxicating green eyes.
A girl who has the power to turn me inside out.
A girl who doesn’t need anyone to rescue her because she’s her own savior.
Until she’s not.
But a man plagued by war and the devil inside him can never be her hero.

Gina Spinelli

Strong. Independent. Fierce.
They are the three things I strived to be.
But sometimes being successful can be lonely.
Sometimes a girl just wants to be a girl and have someone take care of her.
Maybe even love her.
Sometimes the strong become vulnerable.
Or worse, the victor becomes the victim.
Sometimes we lose control or in my case it’s stripped from you.
Defeated. Broken. Haunted.
They are the three things I have become.
In my darkest hour I admit defeat.
In my darkest hour I need one person.
I need him.
Stryker.

***NOTE: DRIFTER is a STANDALONE novel. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, sensitive subjects, offensive language, and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up. ***
