Stephanie’s 3 Star Review of Filthy by Clarissa Wild

3star

Even though this novella says it can stand alone, I believe there’s some missing points to the story you don’t really get unless you’ve read the first two in this series.  I haven’t read them – so that’s what it seemed to me.  Jaret Paxon is a major playboy and he uses and leaves never getting close never more than arms length with women.  His family cut him off from their wealth when he didn’t pull through with his college grades.  He was heartbroken, lost , and lonely.

While looking for someone to give him a quick release he find Lin.  The love of his life.  Dancing in a strip club.  They reconnect.  She’s in trouble.  He’s almost broke.  Not a great combination for success.  The love they share might be thought.

I gave this novella 3 stars for a couple of reasons.  I would have loved to have these two characters have a longer story in finding each other again.  Also, because it was a novella it seemed like the story was a bit rushed.  Hence wanting a longer version.  There just didn’t seem to be “time” to “see” more of their past and into more of their future.  Otherwise it’s a good read.

I was given a copy of this novella by the author for an honest review.

Melissa Andrea- Lust

One Bottle. One Dare. One Night. It was reckless. It was thoughtless. But giving in was all it took to drown in complete and raw lust.

Ella James- Sloth

She’s a small-time college drug dealer. He’s the area kingpin. What do you think happens?

Skylar Cross- Tattered Angel (Wrath)

For rock star Damien Cage, girls are like candy. Unwrap, eat, and toss. Until one comes crashing into his world with fire, passion, music… and a dark past that threatens to destroy him.

Roxie Elms- Volatile (Gluttony)

Hannah’s life as a pole dancer at the local strip club is as routine as it gets. When two mysterious brothers from her dark past find her again, her world is jolted out of place.
