Sometimes revenge is the only choice

Julia worked for weeks planning the perfect surprise birthday party for her boyfriend, Liam, but that night, she was the one who got the biggest shock. He broke up with her in front of all their friends, humiliating her in the process.

Clearly revenge was in order.

The plan is simple. Make him jealous, win him back, and then crush his heart. Fair is fair. However, there is one little hiccup, and he has curly brown hair and dimples.

Jesse is everything she wants. With him, she could almost forget her bruised heart. Almost. Julia has one choice: let Liam walk away after everything he did, or lose a chance at love in pursuit of payback.

Lori’s Review:

I was given this book for an honest review.

3.5 stars

I enjoyed this book and did read it in one sitting so that counts for at
least 2 of the stars, the other 1.5 stars are for originality and
entertainment value.  This book started off with great promise. A boyfriend
who breaks up with his girlfriend in front of their friends. Girlfriend then
seeks revenge for what he did.  See great potential. It started off great
but it slowed down a little too much for me.   I did like the the growth of
how Julia handled herself though and am glad she did things the way she did.
I liked how the book ended and am curious to see what happens in the next
book. I kind of want more though, so that is what was lacking for me. I
wanted more of an inside on Julia and feel her character was lacking
something I just can’t put my finger on it.  I also want to know more about
Grif and hope he gets a book too!  I do think that Ava’s book is going to be
better just because of the back story from this book.
