Synopsis

Everyone just stop for one bleeping minute so we can all get real with each other. Being a mom is some tough $#!†. You’re constantly wearing questionable substances that make you ask, “is this chocolate or … oh, crap …” and your purse is merely a receptacle for three-week-old snacks and broken crayons.

Let’s be honest … even when we’re doing this “mom” thing right, we’re somehow doing it completely wrong.

Pardon us while we dust off our collective Mother of the Year trophy and proudly present you with an epic anthology of #MOMFAILS.

*Stories inspired by real life (unless you’re a cop, then it’s all complete fiction). Names and situations have been changed to protect the guilty (and by guilty, we mean the moms). Because motherhood is a battlefield and we’re all just trying to survive by any means necessary.

Featuring this amazing lineup: Alissa York, A.M. Willard, BL Berry, Carina Adams, Claudia Burgoa, Crystal Burnette, Dylan Allen, Faith Andrews, Gia Riley, J.A. DeRouen, Kate Anslinger, Leddy Harper, LK Collins, LL Collins, Marie James, Piper Rayne, Riann C. Miller, Shari J. Ryan, Stephanie Rose, Stephie Walls, SM West, TL Swan, Teresa Michaels, and foreword written by: Nicole Kane Knepper.

Renee’s Four Star Review

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

Welcome to #MomFail. A anthology of 24 different stories by 24 different authors. Mom fails at there finest and I am about betting that everyone who is a mom who reads this book will relate to something. There are so many authors in this book who are absolutely amazing authors and I really enjoyed the entire thing. From breastfeeding disasters to car trips. Toys that drive you to the point of insanity, a plane ride that would have the calmest person worried. There are hot as sin teachers and even some teenage I hate you mom moments. And lets not forget the how the heck did I kidnap a toddler from the grocery store. Or a really big one….mom and daddy time without getting caught. I laughed at so many of these stories and had the best time reading them. It also brought up so many of my mom fails that I had forgotten about. Like the time I broke a jar in the grocery story due to someone who shall remain nameless slinging their legs like a wild woman. The time I busted my butt in the school parking lot while going into the school for a third grade program. To make matters worse I had on leggings and they ripped in the knee. Blew the entire knee out of my pants actually. Oh the joys of motherhood. I like everyone else am so blessed to have my baby girl who is know a fifteen year old going on twenty and boy crazy. Each of these amazing authors will having you laughing out loud and lost in your memories for hours.

Thank you to all these amazing authors for sharing their stories. I for one enjoyed them and am glad to know I am not the only one in the world with so many #MomFails under my belt. You do not want to miss this book. Even if your not a mom it is still enjoyable reading and you just might have some notes for when your child enters this world one day.

*Carla’s Three Star Review

This anthology is filled with some hilarious mom stories. My “kids” are now 22 and 20, so it was fun to read these stories and reflect back on my life as a young mother. Many of these stories will leave you laughing out loud, and some will make you cringe. My favorite was “Okayest Mom Ever by Gia Riley! There is a mix up of lube and diaper cream that is downright hilarious!

If you are a mom, I am certain you will be able to relate to most if not all of these stories, and, if you are a mom to be, these stories might prepare you for what might happen when your precious little darling arrives! #MomfortheWin!
