Leon Stevens is a young, inexperienced boy who is anxious to learn the ins and outs of the game. His eagerness to sow his oats, however backfires when he finds himself caught in a number of volatile situations. Forced to deal with the consequences, Leon learns crucial lessons about what love is and what love is not. The realizations help to formulate his own meaning of L.O.V.E. as Love Overcomes Virtually Everything.

Lee Ann’s Review:

*Copy of book gifted in exchange for an honest review.

l.o.v.e , written by Samuel Wright Jr is a short 88 page book. Leon is
introduced to us as a junior in high school who is instantly smitten by Renee.
He becomes friends, he feels she could be “the one” but decides to back away from
the relationship giving her no reason. Fast-forward 3 years and many college
courses, he meets another girl who he becomes instantly friends with (benefits
included) only to discover something is missing when Laila shows up. What will
Leon do? Will he run? You’ll have to read to find out.

This book is not by far my favorite, I had a hard time relating to it. But I
think with time and practice the author will one day have a good and enjoyable
book.
