I was so happy to have more Sabrina and Caston! I love them and their relationship. This book really shows how much they love each other and are there for each other no matter what. I also was happy to get more of the rest of the characters in the book. Sabrina is so lucky to have her two best friends.
This one had a third voice that was very interesting. It is just one of the many twists in the story. FL Jacob did an amazing job mixing it up. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen the story would turn and shock me.
FL Jacob had me crying at the end of the story but they were mostly happy tears.
If you haven’t read Have I Told You read it first or you will be lost and then read this story! It is amazing!

I am a mommy of two, wife to an amazing man, and full time employee. Life is crazy and busy! I started writing again for a group of women I met last year. They brought back the passion for writing I haven’t seen since high school. Starting this process was tedious and nerve-wracking, but my amazing ladies and my fabulous husband have inspired me to take my love for writing to the next step.
I walk further down the yard to the lake. Staring out over the water I watch the thunder heads roll in. I hear the rumbling in the distance and see the lightning snake through the clouds. My mood reflects the incumbent weather. As if Sabrina knew I needed her, my phone chimes that a text from her has come through.
My heart aches with love for her. I can’t wait to make her my wife and start a new life together. An uncomplicated, perfect life. I laugh at the thought. Uncomplicated, what the fuck is that?
I’ve never run from my problems. My life has been one fucked up event after another. How am I supposed to bring Sabrina into my life and make everything perfect for her?
I bend down and pick up a stone, turning it over and over in my hand. Letting out a loud yell, I fling the smooth stone, sending it skipping along the relatively calm water. I fall to my knees as lightning strikes and large rain drops start to fall. I run both hands through my hair, grabbing it roughly.
I feel lost. Unsure.
