GOOD BOY GR LINK

Hosting her brother’s wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning’s life. Already the family screw-up, she can’t afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.

Blake Riley sees the wedding as fate’s gift to him. Jess is the maid of honor and he’s the best man? Let the games begin. So what if he’s facing a little (fine, a lot) of resistance? He just needs to convince the stubborn blonde that he’s really a good boy with a bad rap. Luckily, every professional hockey player knows that you’ve got to make an effort if you want to score.

But Jess has more pressing issues to deal with than sexy-times with a giant man-child. Such as: Will the ceremony start on time, even though someone got grandma drunk? Does glitter ever belong at a wedding? And is it wrong to murder the best man?

Caution: May cause accidental aspiration of tea or coffee. Do not read in a public place where loud laughter is inappropriate. Contains hot but hilarious hockey players, puppy cuddling and a snarky pair of underwear

Stephanie’s 4 Star Review:

I received a copy of this book from the authors for an honest review.

Hockey isn’t really my sport.  I know near nothing about the rules; positions; plays etc.  For this particular novel though it’s not necessary to be brushed up on your hockey stats.  Blake Riley will help you with those.  As well as keep your funny bone tickled throughout the book.

Jessica Canning first introduces us to herself and to Blake while planning her brothers wedding to one of Blake’s teammates.  The two are best man and best woman for the wedding and thus spend a little time together.  Not that they haven’t done this before.  Everyone knows Blake is a player on and off the field, however, so Jess will do well to stay away from his philandering ways.

There’s just something about Jess that keeps Blake making every effort to track her down.  To be in her space.  To rile her up.  I swear this character is one you might deem a class clown.  He definitely covers up his true feelings well with humor.

Though these two seem like they’re opposites in every way they do have some of the same desires and direction.  I loved watching their love story unfold.  Jessica definitely speaks her mind along with putting thought into what she says before she speaks it.  She loves fiercely.  It shows in how she interacts with her family and friends.

I think you’ll definitely enjoy this love story.  Blake and Jessica definitely have their work cut out for them but man will it be worth it.
