Book Description:

Paige Tyler didn’t want to be the preacher’s daughter anymore. She wanted the freedom to live her own life, do what she wanted and find the man of her dreams. What she didn’t expect to find was that man drunk off his ass and needing her assistance to handle three guys wanting to beat him up in a bar fight.

Jacob Young’s life was a mess. Finding solace in a bottle of booze was the answer to his guilt-ridden conscious until an angel in leather pulls him up by his boot straps, brushes him off and convinces him life is worth living.

Do opposites really attract? Can a cowboy with a wounded heart be the answer to her prayers? It’s all in For the Love of a Cowboy

Stephanie’s 4 Star Review:

My closest friend through my Senior year in high school through college and into married life is a preachers kid.  I have several other friends that are as well.  They are held to a different standard no matter if they want to be or not.  I know they can relate to Paige and how she felt like she was always on display and had to “do the right thing.”  There are times in life people just want to try to see if they think the other side is better.  Paige just wanted to be able to live her life the way she thought was best.  Her way was riding a Harley, drinking soft drinks at a bar listening to music.

One of those adventures she saw a man in a fight 3 on 1.  Jacob was toast.  110% drunk.  Paige took it upon herself to stick up for him and kicked some dudes butt and his friends took off.  She then took Jacob to a hotel so he could sleep his binge off without driving drunk.

Best thing that ever happened to him.

The scenarios in this story were very real. Well…except for  the girl kicking  dudes  butt maybe…but she did have a black belt in a martial art.  Anyway…they had an attraction to each other.  He felt he had to thank her in some way to repay her for sticking up for him and paying for his hotel room so he didn’t kill anyone while driving drunk.  She was skittish with her two worlds combining.  What would people think of the way she wanted to live her life?  Her daddy certainly wouldn’t approve.

Eventually something had to give…should she choose Jacob and be happy or should she deny herself and stay with her daddy supporting him in all their church events.  Paige’s mother had been deceased quite a while.  So all her mother’s duties had fallen to her.

Their attraction is palatable.  They hunger for each other.  Jacob’s family adores Paige.  Her daddy’s not so sure Jacob is the man for her.  So when all good things come to a life altering twist for Paige…the question she’ll have to ask herself is does she love Jacob completely or should she stay in her shell forever?
