This is Love is the second book in Kennedy Fox’s Checkmate Duet. Your must read This Is War first. This is the conclusion to Travis and Viola’s story.
Travis and Viola return in the is second book strong and determined. After all the bickering which I found so much fun in This is War. Travis and Voila thanks to the Universe are brought closer than ever. The only problem is Drew. Viola’s brother. They haven’t told him about the coupling. They are keeping it a secret waiting for the perfect time to tell him. Mia is also back and I swear I can’t stand this woman. She makes me cringe and if you love Travis and Viola you don’t want anything but smooth sailing. Anybody who messes that up is just and enemy in my eyes. Travis and Viola are just so perfect for each other.
Drew of course is back and I so adored him. Courtney is back too and if you’ve read the first book you know how Courtney feels about Drew. Where Viola is all smart mouthed and take no prisoner, Courtney is her perfect best friend and hilarious, she had me laughing my head off at times.
This duet has been so much fun to read. I can’t complain about one thing in these books. I was hooked till the very end. If you like tell it like it is, I hate you, I love you relationships and scorching hot moments then this is a book you will love and don’t want to miss. I am so glad I go to read these books and can not wait for This Is Reckless.

This is the second book in The Checkmate Duet, and it is the conclusion to Travis and Viola’s story. This is NOT a stand alone, so you need to read the first book, This is War, before reading this one.
Travis and Viola are back and better than ever! Fate has intervened once again bringing Travis and Viola closer than ever before. They decide to keep their relationship under wraps for a while waiting for the perfect time to tell Viola’s brother, Drew. Of course, this plan back fires thanks to that evil witch Mia. Lies are told, and hearts are broken. Will Travis and Viola’s relationship survive?
Gah! This was an awesome conclusion to Travis and Viola’s story! The sex was hot, hot, hot! And the scene against the window? Downright scorching! While Travis and Viola are the main focus of this book, we get to read quite a bit about Drew, and Viola’s best friend, Courtney. Courtney is down right hilarious! She is crazy about Drew, but he friend zones her early on. I am super excited that these two are getting their own book which is Checkmate: This is Reckless. If you haven’t yet read the other books in this series, you need to one click them now, so you will be ready for book three come release day!
