This book is a new spin off to The Blueberry Lane series. It’s not required to have read any of the other books included in Blueberry Lane to read this book.
Priscilla Story has always been looked down upon by her family and the community she lives in. Wealth does come with certain privileges but at what real cost? She finds herself in a pickle and needs a man’s help.
Shane Olson has had a dream to be the CEO of a company to overcome his childhood misfortunes. It can be his if he marries a Story. Priscilla offers him the chance he’s always wanted. She needs a man and this one needs a Story wife.
What comes next neither of them expected. I really had mixed emotions with this story. Mr. Story is a giant turd. I mean really. I hope he gets what’s coming to him in Katy’s future Story Sisters series. Because he’s one of the worst parents ever. You don’t get a clear picture of the mother in this book – she may show up later on in the series. I have a feeling she’s no better than her husband.
These stories are really quick to read. The writing is great and it’s easy to connect with the characters.
