I received a copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review.

The Bachelor Contract is slated as a Romantic Comedy by Author Rachel Van Dyken.  I don’t think you’ll find it full on comedy as there are some pretty good realities that needed to be learned in this story with these characters.

Brant Wellington is a wealthy man determined to drown himself in a bottle.  He lost something precious to him and he’s found the best way to deal with the pain is to drink to blackout.

Nikki lost something precious to her and instead of dealing with the issue she pushed people away – even the one who meant the world to her.  Her husband, Brant Wellington.

Now the two of them find themselves working together in the same hotel.  Well…not really together.  Brant is now her boss!  How ever will this pan out?  Neither expected to end up in the same hotel together.  Leave it to their meddling family to intervene on their behalf.

This story is a sweet romance.  Once they get past themselves, Brant and Nikki, have a love story that’s pretty perfect.  Sure there’s some black times included in their overall fairy tale but nothing they shouldn’t be able to work together to overcome.  This is where they went wrong.

Thankfully they get a second chance at their forever love.  You just have to hope that neither of them will screw it up!
