synopsis

Georgie

I lie to survive.

Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.

Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.

DECK

I kill for a living.

Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I’ve played her game for far too long. Now I think it’s time we play mine.

Renee’s Review:

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

I was so excited when Perfect Chaos popped up on my kindle to review. I’m a huge Nashoda Rose fan since reading her Tears Asunder Series. I loved Georgie in that series and Deck was a huge mystery to me. Perfect Chaos is their story.

Georgie has had a rough life since her brother Conner was killed and her world turned into chaos. Her way of coping found her in a surprising form and since then Georgie’s whole life has been about hiding everything especially from Deck. That’s hard to do when you love the guy.

Deck is a tough, take no prisoners, bad butt who knows something is up with Georgie. He promised Conner he’d protect and look after Georgie and keep his hands off her. He may kill for a living but his biggest weakness is Georgie. But Georgie is acting strange and seems like a totally different person than what she use to be. Deck’s out to find out why if it’s the last thing he does.

Perfect Chaos is the first book in the Unyielding Series. It is however a spin off of the Tears Asunder Series in which I met Deck and Georgie. With that said I could have not read the Tears Asunder series and not been lost at all. It stands alone very well. I loved Georgie and Deck with Deck being a total mystery to me in those books. Excited to read his story doesn’t even begin to explain it. With that said, I can not say much at all about the story as it weaves and turns and surprised me a lot. I thought I knew who Georgie was and not much about Deck. I was so surprised to find out I knew nothing about Georgie and more than I thought about Deck. Georgie is hard to figure out. I didn’t figure out anything until I read it, try as I may.  A determined to get the truth Deck and a hiding her whole life Georgie makes for an amazing, edge of your seat, didn’t see that coming, shocking read.

I would give this book a hundred stars if I could. It rocked my world in the best way possible. I’ve never read a book and not kind of had an idea of what was coming next till Perfect Chaos. Nashoda Rose has outdone herself with this book. I need Perfect Ruin like yesterday. Don’t miss this book that will keep you guessing, reeling, and wanting more. Perfect Chaos will send your world spinning like a top.

5star
